Pendant luminaire GRACE LED with visible height adjustment
The timeless GRACE is one of the classics among decorative pendant luminaires worldwide. Energy efficiency and brilliant lighting effects combined with elegant gesture control are now offered by the LED version. A discreetly integrated in the suspension adjustment bar allows the stepless height adjustment of the lamp.
The brightness is controlled without contact by simple gestures of the hand. Four of the seven color variants have a special soft touch surface. Depending on the incidence of light, the color changes in smooth shades. In addition, the luminaire is available in the classic finishes chrome, brushed aluminum and glossy white. New in version 2022: "Tunable white" function: With built-in Casambi wireless module, the light color can be adjusted via app between 2200K (super warm white) to 5000K (cool white) to suit personal preferences. Ex works 2700K (warm white) are preset.
The outstanding features of this light:
- Operation via gesture control or Bluetooth (Casambi).
- Light top/bottom separately switchable and dimmable (via Casambi)
- Tunable White: Light color can be set as desired between 2200 K and 5000 K (via Casambi)
- The control element (gesture control) can be assigned all functions provided by the app via the Casambi app e.g. switch/dim, change light color, control scene and groups (also in connection with other Casambi lights) etc.
- Example: For a multi-flame luminaire, all luminaire heads can be combined into one group. One of the control elements controls the brightness for the entire luminaire, another controls the light color.

- What is luminous flux?
The luminous flux Φ - measured in lumens (lm) - is the light output of a light source. It describes the power emitted by the light source in all directions in the visible range. To get a rough idea of what this value means, here are a few comparisons:

- What does color temperature mean?
Roughly speaking, the color temperature indicates how warm or cold especially white light is. The oneness is Kelvin (K). The lower the Kelvin value, the warmer the light gets. The light of a commercial light bulb here would correspond to about 2700K, a candle has about 1500K. The higher the Kelvin value becomes, the colder the blue becomes the light. Daylight is compared with about 7000K. A rough classification of the light color is:
- 2,700 to 3,250 Kelvin: warm white
- 3,250 to 5,250 Kelvin: neutral white
- 5,250 to 8,000 Kelvin: daylight white
- What does the color rendering index called RA or CRI?
The color rendering index indicates the degree of correspondence of the seen body color with its appearance under the respective reference light source. The smaller the deviation, the better the color rendering property. A light source with RA = 100 reproduces all colors very well. The lower the RA value, the less well the colors are rendered. In bathrooms and dressing rooms with mirrors, we generally recommend the use of luminaires and light sources with a high RA value of at least 90.

TOUCH-FREE GESTURE CONTROL WITH MEMORY FUNCTION
A subtle hand movement is enough to control the light, making switching and dimming an almost magical experience. Within a detection range of 10 centimeters, the direction of movement and the position of the hand are detected by a sensor. The light is switched on or off by a movement of the hand close to the sensor. If the hand lingers over the sensor for a longer time, the dimming function is activated. A mode change can be used to switch between stepless dimming and step dimming.
