LINTO tunable white

Height adjustment:
The luminaire is available either as a version with invisible height adjustment or as a luminaire with fixed adjustable pendant height.

Variant with invisible height adjustment:
The height of the luminaire can be adjusted within a range of 30cm - 200cm by pushing the luminaire head up and pulling it down.
Version without height adjustment:
The light can be mounted within a range of 30cm - 200cm. Special length: On request and at an extra charge, we can supply this version with a suspension up to max. 5m.
Gesture control:
The luminaire can be operated without contact using two sensors, one on the top and one on the bottom. In the delivery state, the upper sensor determines the light colour and the lower sensor the brightness. The behaviour of the sensors can be adjusted as required within the Casambi app.

Casambi:
Whether at home or in a commercial environment: smart system solutions and options for customised lighting control provide the basis for greater lighting comfort. Casambi offers the option of mobile luminaire control. Based on the Bluetooth 4.0 LE standard, intuitive control via smartphone or tablet is possible. Casambi is an easy-to-integrate, free software for mobile control of individual luminaires and lighting systems. It is characterised by easy integration, simple technical design, wireless installation and intuitive control via smart phone or tablet. Existing lighting structures and conventional light switches can also be integrated into the smart lighting control system via a retrofittable switch module. This makes Casambi particularly suitable for retrofitting in existing buildings.
With accessories such as the XPRESS wireless push-button, the light can also be controlled independently of the Casambi app once it has been set up. Alternatively, existing wall switches can be converted to Casambi control using a push-button interface. Additional convenience is provided by the option of combining lights into groups or scenes. This allows several lights to be controlled simultaneously.
Operating elements, such as the gesture control, offer the on/off and dimming functions ex works. Other functions can be assigned to the control elements via the Casambi app. Combined with the app's group function, this creates exciting lighting control options.
Example: With a three-lamp luminaire, the brightness of the entire luminaire can be set using the gesture control of the first pendant, while the light colour can be selected using the gesture control of the second pendant. The gesture control of the third pendant is used to switch all the lights in the room on and off or dim them.

- What is luminous flux?
The luminous flux Φ - measured in lumens (lm) - is the light output of a light source. It describes the power emitted by the light source in all directions in the visible range. To get a rough idea of what this value means, here are a few comparisons:

- What does color temperature mean?
Roughly speaking, the color temperature indicates how warm or cold especially white light is. The oneness is Kelvin (K). The lower the Kelvin value, the warmer the light gets. The light of a commercial light bulb here would correspond to about 2700K, a candle has about 1500K. The higher the Kelvin value becomes, the colder the blue becomes the light. Daylight is compared with about 7000K. A rough classification of the light color is:
- 2,700 to 3,250 Kelvin: warm white
- 3,250 to 5,250 Kelvin: neutral white
- 5,250 to 8,000 Kelvin: daylight white
- What does the color rendering index called RA or CRI?
The color rendering index indicates the degree of correspondence of the seen body color with its appearance under the respective reference light source. The smaller the deviation, the better the color rendering property. A light source with RA = 100 reproduces all colors very well. The lower the RA value, the less well the colors are rendered. In bathrooms and dressing rooms with mirrors, we generally recommend the use of luminaires and light sources with a high RA value of at least 90.

TOUCH-FREE GESTURE CONTROL WITH MEMORY FUNCTION
A subtle hand movement is enough to control the light, making switching and dimming an almost magical experience. Within a detection range of 10 centimeters, the direction of movement and the position of the hand are detected by a sensor. The light is switched on or off by a movement of the hand close to the sensor. If the hand lingers over the sensor for a longer time, the dimming function is activated. A mode change can be used to switch between stepless dimming and step dimming.
