The heart of every IP44.DE solar join system is the solar panel L. With its generous 22.5 x 22.5 cm area, it captures a lot of sun and stores it in a powerful battery. It can be aligned to the current position of the sun using a tilt joint.

Full power
Two sunny days of ten hours each in a southerly orientation are enough to fully charge the solar panel L. A fully charged battery provides power for 15 hours of light, i.e. around three evenings of atmospheric lighting.

Automatic mode
Once the battery is charged, the IP44.DE solar join system switches on automatically when darkness falls - and switches itself off again after around five hours. The battery can easily cover three days without sunshine until the next recharging.

Four wins
Up to four solar lights can be connected to a solar panel L via the port. A second solar panel, however, cannot be connected.

Shared performance
The power of the solar panel L is distributed evenly across the lights connected in the IP44.DE solar join network. However, it is designed so powerfully that even with four lights connected, roughly the same output is still achieved as with a solitary light in combination with the solar panel S.

Maximum distance
Both our solar lights and the solar panel L are equipped with a cable that is approximately 1 meter long. With an 8 meter extension cable, the distance between the two can be extended to 10 meters - the distance shouldn't be any greater.

Interchangeability
In the event of a failure, the battery can be replaced with IP44.DE.
