The fireplace by Carl Mertens is a modern design masterpiece made of slate, stainless steel and fire!

Two stainless steel cylinders, one above the other, take on the function of burning logs. Together with a slate plate, they form an unusual light object with an original character and create a campfire atmosphere in the living room. Behind the reduced appearance of the fireplace hides a sophisticated technology.

The high-quality crafted, 18.5 cm long, screw-on cylinders made of matte stainless steel are filled with lamp oil and have fiberglass wicks. The length of the wick can be varied as desired to adjust the size of the flame.
