Reading light ROXXANE LEGGERA
The handle shows what's what. The Roxxane Leggera wants to be moved, wants to be there when light is needed somewhere. Succinctly designed and ergonomically placed, the handle makes the Roxxane Leggera a casual companion. Light as a feather, it can be moved effortlessly from one room to the next, from the reading corner to the terrace, to the sofa or to the favorite spot by the window. And because it works wirelessly thanks to its integrated rechargeable battery, there's no need to search for sockets or worry about tangled cables.
36 light-emitting diodes in the freely swiveling lamp head generate a luminous flux of a whopping 400 lumens with only 4 watts of power. In boost mode, even 800 lumens are available. The quality of light is as convincing as the light output: Designed as a residential luminaire, the Roxxane Leggera produces warm, homely light with a color temperature of 2700 K and an excellent color rendering index of CRI > 90.
From now on, the light follows the user - and not vice versa
The Roxxane Leggera frees itself from the limiting cable and, like a good companion, is always there where you need it. Freed from the cable, it carries its light everywhere. Dim corners are a thing of the past. This means more comfort, more freedom and quality of living. The lightness of the design is matched by the handling: a weight of only 1150 or 1650 grams and the concise handle make the Roxxane Leggera a real companion.
Mobile, cordless and extremely adaptable: The Roxxane Leggera adjusts to personal preferences, can be placed freely according to the current lighting needs. And thanks to the precise 3D friction joint, the luminaire head can be individually adjusted to a wide variety of lighting situations. As a "portable power source", the wireless light not only provides light exactly where it is needed, but also simultaneously supplies power to the cell phone - always and everywhere! With the optional smartphone holder, the smartphone charging station (powerbank) of the Roxxane Leggera can be used optimally - at the location and at eye level of the user. A real added value!

A few information about the technical data
- What is luminous flux?
The luminous flux Φ - measured in lumens (lm) - is the light output of a light source. It describes the power emitted by the light source in all directions in the visible range. To get a rough idea of what this value means, here are a few comparisons:
Candle: 12lm
230V halogen bulb with base GU10, 50W: 345lm
230V halogen bulb with base G9, 60W: 740lm
12V halogen bulb with socket GX5.3 (GU5.3), 35W: 450lm
12V halogen bulb with socket GX5.3 (GU5.3), 50W: 720lm
12V halogen bulb with base G4, 20W: 257lm
12V halogen bulb with base GY6.35, 50W: 840lm
230V halogen rod with base R7s, 100W: 1200lm
- What does color temperature mean?
Roughly speaking, the color temperature indicates how warm or cold especially white light is. The oneness is Kelvin (K). The lower the Kelvin value, the warmer the light gets. The light of a commercial light bulb here would correspond to about 2700K, a candle has about 1500K. The higher the Kelvin value becomes, the colder the blue becomes the light. Daylight is compared with about 7000K. A rough classification of the light color is:
- 2,700 to 3,250 Kelvin: warm white
- 3,250 to 5,250 Kelvin: neutral white
- 5,250 to 8,000 Kelvin: daylight white
- What does the color rendering index called RA or CRI?
The color rendering index indicates the degree of correspondence of the seen body color with its appearance under the respective reference light source. The smaller the deviation, the better the color rendering property. A light source with RA = 100 reproduces all colors very well. The lower the RA value, the less well the colors are rendered. In bathrooms and dressing rooms with mirrors, we generally recommend the use of luminaires and light sources with a high RA value of at least 90.
RA 70-80: medium color rendering
RA 80-90: good color reproduction
Ra 90-100 very good color reproduction
DIMMING BY GESTURE CONTROL
SWITCH ON - SWITCH OFF
Swipe horizontally across the sensor at a height of 1 - 2 cm to switch the luminaire on or off.
DIM
Hover your hand at a height of 1 - 2 cm above the sensor and the luminaire will slowly dim up or down. The dimming direction is changed with each switching operation.
