CASAMBI radio remote control XPRESS

The Xpress is a wireless light switch and a remote control at the same time. The Xpress brings great flexibility in the interior design, as furniture can be freely converted or walls can be rebuilt without having to consider the wiring for light switches or their placement. The switch can be placed wherever the user needs it, and it provides direct access to all the important functions of the Casambi lighting control system.
The preset buttons of the Xpress can be configured via the Casambi app. An LED indicates the selected preset button.

Dimming high, dimming down:
• Stepless dimming of the last selected preset button

Multifunction keys:
• Change in color temperature in 25 Kelvin steps
• Change in the indirect / direct ratio

• Control single lamp

Dimming

> Dimming down or dimming down Press and hold:
• Stepless dimming of the last selected preset button, dimming cycle lasts 5 seconds

> Dimming down Press the button:
• Last selected preset goes to 0%

> High dimming Press button:
• Last selected preset goes to 100%

Preset buttons

> Press:
• The selected preset (control lights, control groups, control all lights, recall scene or recall animation) will be turned on.

> Press again:
• The selected preset (control lights, control groups, control all lights, recall scene or recall animation) will be turned off.

Color temperature

> Press and hold the multifunction button:
• Changing the color temperature, color temperature cycle lasts 5 seconds

> Press the upper multifunction button:
• Warmest color temperature is selected

> Press lower multifunction button:
• The coldest color temperature is selected

Turn off

> Simultaneously dimming and dimming down Press and hold the buttons for 1 second.
• Turns off all lights in the network

Bluetooth Low Energy

Casambi's app is designed to make it easy for anyone to commission and control lighting. The app employs intuitive gesture control: tap a luminaire to turn it on or off, swipe side-to-side to adjust brightness, up and down for colour temperature, or hold to change the colour. The unique gallery feature even lets users upload their own photos of a space, mark the positions of the luminaires, and use this to select and control them.

User Interfaces

Casambi offers a big variety of possibilities for a user to interact with the lighting depending on the user's individual requirements. The app for smartphones, tablets and smartwatches is the most elaborated user interface. Besides the app, traditional wall switches, push buttons, Casambi's own scene controllers and many other control points can be used.
